Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent and hands-on Site Civil Engineer or Diploma Civil Engineer to manage the comprehensive execution and daily oversight of high-end low-rise builder floor construction projects specifically in South Delhi (Chittaranjan Park area and nearby). This role demands vigilant supervision of site activities, contractor coordination, quality assurance, and precise billing measurements from structural stages through to final finishing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily site work to ensure compliance with approved structural and architectural plans.
• Coordinate with labor contractors and specialized subcontractors such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and vendors to meet daily production targets.
• Accurately measure and record executed work for initial, running, and final contractor billing purposes.
• Verify and reconcile materials used against project progress, preparing and validating Joint Measurement Records (JMR).
• Conduct frequent quality checks on activities including concreting, shuttering, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and interior finishes to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor project schedules, track daily progress reports, and promptly flag any delays or obstacles to management.
• Inspect incoming material quality and supervise onsite storage to reduce wastage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Two to three years of practical experience in residential low-rise builder floors or upscale independent bungalow projects, ideally within South Delhi or the Delhi NCR region.
• Competency in interpreting structural, architectural, MEP, and working drawings.
• Experience with site billing procedures, measurement book maintenance, and material estimation.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD for drawing verification and site measurements.
• Effective communication and strong supervisory capabilities to manage labor and contractors firmly and respectfully.
• Preference for candidates residing in or willing to commute to South Delhi.
• Mandatory possession of a personal vehicle; petrol expenses will be reimbursed.
