Civil Design Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer with direct experience in solar energy projects. The candidate will be accountable for the full scope of structural design activities—from detailed analysis to preparation of drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design module mounting structures (MMS) for solar ground-mounted systems.
• Develop RCC foundation designs for installations.
• Create structural models and perform analyses using STAAD.Pro software.
• Conduct design validation considering wind, seismic, and other relevant load factors.
• Draft structural calculation documents, foundation and general arrangement drawings, as well as Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Evaluate soil investigation reports to guide foundation selection and design.
• Handle terrain-following structure designs including grading and earth cut-fill assessments when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with site teams, fabrication groups, and project units on design-related matters.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech).
• At least 1 year of experience in structural design, ideally with exposure to solar projects.
• Proficiency with STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD software.
• Good understanding and application of Indian Standards: IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 456, and other pertinent codes.
• Hands-on experience with steel structure and foundation design.
• Ability to interpret field conditions and translate them into practical and workable designs.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from 18,000 to 22,000 INR.
