About the Role
Ton Ton Icecream And Dessert Lab LLP is seeking a dynamic and hospitality-focused individual to fill the position of Chief Swirler at our Bandra West location in Mumbai. The primary function involves preparing premium soft serve ice cream sundaes and frozen Greek yogurt, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the parlour maintains a welcoming and sanitary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft soft serve sundaes and frozen Greek yogurt precisely following brand recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders with accuracy, process payments through POS systems, and provide informed recommendations on our menu offerings.
- Keep ice cream equipment, toppings stations, and seating spaces clean and organized throughout work shifts.
- Track inventory of milk, toppings, packaging, and other raw materials, alerting the shift lead when supplies are running low.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food handling regulations applicable locally.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of soft serve machines.
- Represent and promote the brand at both public and private events.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a server role or working in a high-paced specialty coffee or food service environment is preferred, though training is available for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with ice cream flavors and beverages will be considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and guest-oriented communication skills, with the ability to manage busy periods such as morning rush hours.
- Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, weekends, or holidays.
- Capability to stand for long hours and handle the physical demands such as lifting materials.
