Role Overview

We seek a Chief Investor Relations Officer at the founding level to lead fundraising efforts, manage investor communications, and support capital strategies. The role involves cultivating and sustaining relationships with existing and potential investors, keeping them updated, and facilitating the capital raising essential for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all investor relations and fundraising initiatives for Brik.
• Develop and update investor-related materials, including reports, decks, and progress updates.
• Establish and nurture relationships with angel investors, investment funds, and strategic partners.
• Support capital raising activities such as outreach, conducting meetings, and coordinating due diligence.
• Effectively communicate the company's progress, key metrics, and strategic vision to investors.
• Collaborate with the CEO and team to develop capital strategy and long-term financing plans.
• Assist in structuring investment documents and coordinate with legal advisors.
• Ensure a professional, transparent, and consistent experience for all investors.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in investor relations, fundraising, venture capital, private equity, or similar sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable articulating the company's vision and financial details to investors.
• Capable of operating in a startup environment with a strong sense of ownership.
• Organized, dependable, and discreet when handling sensitive information.
• Strong alignment with Brik's mission of enabling real property ownership across Africa.
• A network within African or global investment communities is highly advantageous.
