About the Role
Join Hilton as a Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager where your leadership will not only maintain the physical infrastructure but also enhance the guest experience by providing seamless hospitality. You will oversee all maintenance and repairs within the facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance to create memorable stays for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and build a capable and motivated engineering team through recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management.
- Ensure all building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety are properly maintained in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage daily maintenance tasks by prioritizing workload, overseeing service requests, and ensuring timely completion using a property maintenance management system.
- Support capital and rehabilitation projects by assisting in budget management, contractor selection, scheduling, licensing, and regulatory adherence.
- Develop and implement energy conservation programs to enhance efficiency and reduce utility expenses.
- Monitor and improve departmental performance through KPIs like equipment condition, audit outcomes, and team productivity.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to uphold safety procedures including evacuation plans and coverage protocols.
