Role Overview

As Chief AI Officer based in Dubai, you will lead Plintron's global AI initiatives, guiding the strategy, design, and deployment of AI-driven solutions across telecom platforms and digital enablement services. This full-time onsite position demands oversight of AI product roadmaps, identification of impactful AI applications in network management, customer experience, and business intelligence, and deploying scalable AI solutions across multiple regions. You will be responsible for forming and mentoring multidisciplinary AI and data science teams, liaising with technology, product, and commercial teams, and ensuring AI efforts comply with security, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide AI strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the creation and deployment of AI solutions within cloud-native telecom platforms.
• Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases impacting network operations, customer engagement, and data insights.
• Build and guide diverse AI and data science teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure AI initiatives adhere to governance, privacy, and compliance requirements in a global multi-country context.
• Monitor advancements in AI technology to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
• Define best practices, KPIs, and governance frameworks for AI implementations.
• Serve as the face of Plintron’s AI vision in executive meetings, partnerships, and industry events.

Requirements

• Proven leadership in AI strategy, including defining and implementing enterprise-level AI roadmaps.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, data science, and analytics with practical experience deploying scalable AI models.
• Experience in cloud-native systems, telecom platforms, or extensive digital infrastructure, preferably in MVNO/MVNE sectors or similar industries.
• A track record of building and managing multidisciplinary AI teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders and external partners.
• In-depth knowledge of AI governance, data privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and ethical AI in international settings.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to clearly translate AI complexities into business impact.
• An advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines; an MBA or equivalent business education is a plus.
• A demonstrated history of delivering AI-driven innovations that significantly enhance operational efficiency, customer interaction, or financial outcomes.
• Commitment to working onsite at the Dubai office.
