Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to spearhead the advancement of analytics capabilities enterprise-wide. This position involves leading the architecture and development of scalable BI solutions, analytics platforms, and translating complex challenges into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee creation and refinement of enterprise BI solutions, including dashboards and reporting systems.
• Design and maintain robust data models, ETL/ELT workflows, and semantic frameworks supporting analytics.
• Collaborate with business units to transform strategic goals into data-driven solutions and insights.
• Develop interactive performance dashboards, KPI scorecards, and executive reports using top BI tools.
• Implement and uphold data governance policies, metadata management, and data quality protocols.
• Mentor analytics team members in best practices for visualization, storytelling, and BI methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional analytics projects and assess emerging analytical technologies to enhance automation and insight generation.
• Champion data literacy and promote self-service analytics capabilities across the organization.

Minimum Requirements

• Over 10 years experience in business intelligence, data analytics, engineering, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, or related discipline.
• Proficiency with enterprise BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Solid experience in designing data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integrating data sources.
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with relational and cloud-based database platforms.
• Experience eliciting business needs and translating them into scalable analytical solutions.
• Proven leadership in complex analytics projects and adeptness at stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Business-related fields.
• Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, master data management, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics, AI, machine learning, and advanced statistical modeling.
• Background supporting regulated industries like healthcare, life sciences, or financial services.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and product-focused analytics teams.
• History of developing self-service analytics and enterprise reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrated success mentoring and coaching analytics professionals.

Work Environment & Travel

• Work location and hybrid/in-office arrangements will be based on business needs.
• May require occasional travel for meetings, collaborations, or company initiatives.
• Work will involve standard office or remote computer-based tasks.

Compensation and Rewards

McKesson offers a competitive salary package aligned with performance, expertise, and market factors, ranging from €81,000 to €135,000 annually. The remuneration package may also include bonuses and long-term incentive plans.
