Role Overview
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) role involves establishing from the ground up the institutional infrastructure that positions Brendan Nicholas Holdings as a credible physical institution. The position resembles the responsibilities of a five-star hotel General Manager backed by governance expertise. Rather than direct task execution, the CAO builds systems, holds vendors accountable, and ensures that headquarters operations, document management, procurement, and commercial venue revenue meet high institutional-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the environment of the headquarters, ensure outstanding visitor experience, and maintain event excellence.
- Manage the commercial revenue streams associated with boardroom, lecture hall, and lounge spaces, including components linked to performance-based compensation.
- Implement and govern physical and digital document custody along with information architecture.
- Direct procurement, vendor management, energy solutions, fleet oversight, security protocols, and insurance coverage.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, staff welfare initiatives, and business continuity planning.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess 8 to 12 or more years of experience in institutional operations, corporate services, or administrative management within complex multi-floor organizations. Preferred backgrounds include Nigerian Tier-1 banks, multinational corporations or Big-4 operational roles, five-star hotel general management, or senior leadership in facilities or property management. Essential traits include systems thinking aptitude, commercial awareness, rigorous cost management, and authoritative yet discreet institutional leadership.
