About the Role

W Brisbane, located at 81 North Quay, Brisbane City, is inviting applications for the position of Chef de Partie. Working under the Executive Chef, this role requires overseeing and ensuring the quality, uniformity, and production of assigned food preparation areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong culinary skills, excel in their tasks, and effectively lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and production of all hot or cold dishes for the a la carte menu, ensuring adherence to prescribed recipes and quality specifications.
• Manage kitchen shift operations while ensuring strict compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain proper food handling, preparation, and storage standards.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as HACCP standards.
• Lead and supervise kitchen shift teams, executing requests as per required specifications.
• Foster an environment of mutual respect, trust, and teamwork among employees.
• Maintain productivity levels of team members and support cross-training initiatives to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Understand how kitchen operations affect the overall financial objectives of the property and manage activities to meet or exceed budget goals.
