Job description

About Sleek

Sleek employs proprietary software and artificial intelligence alongside a focus on exceptional customer experience to simplify back-office processes for micro SMEs. Our mission is to give entrepreneurs more time to concentrate on expanding their businesses and engaging with customers. Operating in three core segments—Corporate Secretary services, Accounting & Bookkeeping, and FinTech payments—Sleek is recognized as a leader in Singapore and is rapidly growing its footprint in Australia, the UK, and Hong Kong with over 15,000 customers globally.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Channel Partner Manager based in Sydney to expand Sleek’s Australian market presence by establishing and nurturing high-performing partner relationships. This role is focused on end-to-end channel partnership management including prospecting, negotiating agreements, onboarding, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to execute successful partnerships that drive customer acquisition.

Key Missions and Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect promising channel partners across fintech, SaaS, eCommerce, accounting, SME, and technology sectors in Australia.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners.
  • Manage partner relationships from initial contact through onboarding and ongoing partnership growth.
  • Collaborate with partners to optimize referral volumes and customer conversion rates.
  • Establish scalable partnerships rather than one-off referral deals.
  • Lead commercial discussions, confidently negotiate mutually beneficial partnership terms, and effectively articulate Sleek’s value proposition.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to activate partners swiftly, ensuring partners fully understand Sleek’s offerings, ideal clients, and lead generation methods.
  • Monitor partnership performance, customer acquisition metrics, and return on investment to inform strategy.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in a hunter role focused on SMB business development, corporate sales, or outbound partnerships within fast-moving fintech, SaaS, or technology startups.
  • Proven success in consistently attaining or exceeding new partner acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Experienced in leveraging indirect distribution channels, alliances, or partnerships for unlocking SMB/mid-market customer segments.
  • Possess an active and well-established network across Australian SME hubs, accelerators, fintech communities, and eCommerce groups.
  • Strong commercial acumen to handle complex value proposition pitches, objections, and closing deals independently.
  • Preferably have a pre-existing network throughout the ANZ region.
  • Based in Sydney with a hybrid work schedule requiring 3-4 days per week in the office.

Desired Behavioral Traits

  • Ownership and accountability ensuring reliability, proactive problem-solving, and consistent follow-through.
  • Humility characterized by openness to feedback, learning, and teamwork.
  • Structured thinking to apply pragmatic judgment balancing organizational and customer perspectives.
  • Data-driven approach using analytics to guide strategic decisions and measure initiative outcomes.
  • Capacity to engage in challenging conversations constructively, fostering trust and empathy.

Interview Process

The selection comprises a screening call, a case study or technical interview with the Australia Country Head, a final interview with the Chief Revenue Officer, and a professional reference check. The entire procedure is expected to conclude within three weeks.

Additional Terms and Background Checks

As a regulated entity, Sleek will conduct background verification, including education, criminal history, political exposure, bankruptcy, and adverse credit. Candidate consent will be sought prior. Certain adverse findings may affect probation outcomes.

Benefits and Culture

  • A workplace culture emphasizing humility and kindness fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Flexible working arrangements including remote work options and allowance for flexible start times.
  • Competitive salary, a wellness allowance of $1,200, generous paid leave and holidays, and eligibility for employee share ownership plans.
  • Opportunities for personal growth and autonomy in a fast-paced, AI-focused technology environment.
  • Certified B Corp committed to building an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
