CCTV Technician

Job Overview

Digitals India Security Products Private Limited seeks a motivated CCTV Technician to manage installation, configuration, upkeep, and repair of CCTV surveillance systems. The role involves fieldwork at client sites and requires basic technical expertise.

Key Duties

• Install and set up CCTV cameras along with DVR/NVR, monitors, cables, and connectors.
• Test, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems including cameras, wiring, connectivity, and recording.
• Manage IP cameras and perform network configurations focusing on LAN connectivity.
• Conduct preventive maintenance regularly and visit client locations for installations or services.
• Keep detailed records of installation and maintenance activities and collaborate with service coordinators for daily tasks.
• Ensure high-quality cable routing, adherence to safety standards, and installation quality.
• Provide clients with basic technical assistance as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic familiarity with CCTV, DVR, NVR, IP cameras, and surveillance technologies.
• Knowledge of CCTV cabling, connectors, and electrical power supply.
• Fundamental networking knowledge, including IP configuration and LAN setup.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Preparedness to work at multiple client sites and manage field tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• ITI or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Information Technology, or related disciplines is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in CCTV installation and maintenance is advantageous.
• Technical freshers with pertinent knowledge may also be considered.

Additional Notes

• Willingness to travel frequently to client locations is necessary.
• Comfort with fieldwork and handling of tools and basic testing equipment is mandatory.
• Ownership of a two-wheeler and possession of a valid driving license are beneficial.
