CCTV Camera Operator - Pipeline and Sewer Inspection

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline/Sewer Inspection Camera Operator to become an integral member of our innovative CCTV Video Inspection Department. This unit provides critical internal assessments of pipeline systems to detect construction attributes as well as any structural or functional deficiencies.

Key Duties

• Conduct camera inspections on storm and sanitary sewer lines from manhole to manhole, including lateral connections.
• Inspect plumbing installations within buildings to verify adherence to municipal, provincial, and federal standards.
• Oversee inspections during sewer system and pipeline construction phases.
• Evaluate and report on the physical condition of infrastructure installations.
• Review plans, drawings, and site layouts related to new buildings, renovations, and proposed pipeline structures.

Candidate Profile

• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in interactions.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety standards and safe working practices.
• Possess necessary technical skills for executing job assignments.
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license accompanied by a clean driving record.
• Holding a technical certification or diploma such as NASSCO is advantageous.
• Experience with utility locating is considered a plus.
