Catering Supervisor

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee daily catering and food service functions in Qatar. The supervisor will direct catering staff, manage scheduling, ensure food quality and safety, and handle client interactions effectively. Familiarity with Qatar's food safety regulations and local catering protocols is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of catering and food service activities.
• Coordinate and supervise catering team and manage work schedules efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food quality, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards throughout food preparation and service.
• Monitor portion control and ensure timely meal delivery.
• Manage inventory and food stocks to reduce wastage.
• Address client needs and resolve any service-related challenges promptly.
• Maintain daily records of operations and hygiene.
• Ensure all processes comply with Qatar's food safety and health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant supervisory experience in catering within Qatar.
• Experience with large-scale, staff, hospitality, camp, or industrial catering operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and catering management.
• Awareness of Qatar-specific food safety and health regulations.
• Skilled in leadership and managing catering personnel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to supervise catering for a large workforce and efficiently resolve operational issues.
• Food safety or HACCP certification is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s working and catering environment.
