Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and room charge payments with accuracy.
• Operate POS systems and ensure guest bills are properly closed.
• Validate discounts, void transactions, and complimentary bills as per hotel policies.
• Reconcile daily cash collections against POS reports to confirm transaction accuracy.
• Compile and submit daily cashier reports along with supporting documentation.
• Safeguard assigned cashier float consistently.
• Report any discrepancies such as cash shortages or overages immediately.
• Ensure completeness and proper documentation of all transactions.
• Adhere strictly to hotel cash handling procedures and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding guest and financial information.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to payments or billing.
• Handle any additional cashier duties assigned within the scope of the role.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cashier, ideally in a hospitality environment.
