Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with courtesy and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all sales transactions, including merchandise deactivation aligned with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Encourage participation in company initiatives like credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable activities.
• Support customers by assisting with packing and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safety protocols such as correct lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the cash register through meticulous cash management, compliance with company policies, and constant situational awareness.
• Direct customers to a Customer Service Manager when specific service or transaction assistance is needed.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.90 per hour.
