Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and warmly upon arrival.
• Efficiently handle purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Advocate for company-sponsored programs such as credit card offerings, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging items and loading purchases.
• Adhere to safe work practices including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workstation.
• Maintain the security and integrity of cash registers through careful cash handling, compliance with company policies, and situational awareness.
• Refer customers to Customer Service Managers when necessary for additional services or transaction issues.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
