Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, including the proper deactivation of merchandise according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Support customers by assisting with bagging and loading of items.
• Adhere to safe workplace procedures, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Safeguard register security by careful cash handling, following company policies, and staying alert to surroundings.
• Refer complex service or transaction matters to the Customer Service Manager as necessary.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
