Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer politely and cordially.
• Efficiently manage purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation in line with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Encourage participation in Walmart's sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection, and charity efforts.
• Assist customers by bagging and helping load their purchases.
• Adhere to safe working practices, including appropriate lifting techniques and maintaining cleanliness of the workstation.
• Safeguard register security through vigilant cash handling, compliance with company policies, and situational awareness.
• Direct complex service or transactional inquiries to the Customer Service Manager as necessary.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position starts at 17.75 Canadian dollars.
