Role Overview
We are searching for a skilled Case Manager to join the Workers’ Compensation Nominal Insurer team. This role involves managing a caseload of workers' compensation claims, helping injured workers navigate recovery and return to work in compliance with legislation. You'll coordinate treatment plans, rehabilitation, and collaborate closely with employers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, sustainable employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims under the Nominal Insurer scheme, ensuring timely, compliant, and effective claim resolution.
- Utilize workers' compensation legislation knowledge to assess liability, coordinate medical treatment, and guide return-to-work plans.
- Collaborate with employers, injured workers, healthcare providers, rehabilitation specialists, and internal teams to facilitate proactive claims management centered on customer needs.
- Maintain accurate claim records in strict adherence to regulatory, contractual, and audit standards.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and elevate service delivery.
- Contribute within a supportive, goal-driven team environment that values collaboration and capability growth.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience managing workers’ compensation claims with comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and statutory processes.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities backed by clear, confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer-focused approach dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for injured workers and employers alike.
- Resilience and sound judgment in handling complex, sensitive, or high-pressure claim situations.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, adept at prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proactive growth mindset with an eagerness to learn and contribute collaboratively within teams.
Additional Information
- Location options include Parramatta, Newcastle, or Lismore with a hybrid working arrangement requiring two office days per week.
- This is a permanent, full-time employee role.
