About the Role
This fixed-term position, available until February 2027, is an essential role within the justice system. As a Case Manager, you will contribute significantly to the smooth running of Tribunals, coordinating with judiciary members and the public to ensure timely case handling and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will encompass managing court case logistics, providing customer service, and handling case management tasks. You will be supported through a buddy system training program to help you integrate and excel.
Working Environment
The Wellington Tribunals team delivers operational, administrative, and judicial assistance to specialized courts and tribunals across New Zealand. The role requires travel for out-of-town hearings up to 10 weeks per year, necessitating a full and clean driver's license. There is one full-time permanent vacancy available.
Skills and Experience
Successful candidates will exhibit resilience when managing sensitive and high-volume cases, be detail-oriented and careful with complex court information, and demonstrate self-awareness to engage effectively with diverse customers. The ability to multitask and adapt to changing legislation and court procedures is essential. A willingness to learn and respond to feedback is vital.

Compensation
The salary range for this position spans from $60,729 to $80,794 annually. The actual salary offered will be between $65,692 to $77,043 depending on experience and skills.
