Job Overview
We invite applications for the role of Judges' Clerk at the North Shore District Court, a fixed-term appointment for two years starting February 1, 2027. The successful candidate will deliver expert legal research and administrative support to District and High Court Judges and Community Magistrates, assisting them in resolving legal matters efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
The Judges' Clerk will provide accurate research assistance and comprehensive support to judicial officers to aid in effective decision-making within the court system.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Possession of an LLB degree with commendable academic performance.
- Strong written communication capabilities coupled with proficient computer skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Capacity to evaluate legal outcomes practically as well as legally.

About the Employer

Compensation
- Starting salary: $69,845 NZD annually.
- After 6 months: $74,115.
- After 12 months: $78,409.
- After 18 months: $81,272.
- Second year extension option salary: $84,135.
