Job Overview

The Carpenter position involves assisting the Foreman in daily duties across all phases of construction projects.

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or GED is mandatory
• A positive mindset, robust work ethic, creativity, and proactive thinking are essential

Travel Requirements

Candidates must be prepared for regular travel obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Constructing foundations, walls, columns, decks, executing rough and finish carpentry tasks including door installation, hardware fitting, and millwork
• Adhering to and supporting established standard work procedures
• Engaging in and promoting Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Vigorously supporting and endorsing the company’s safety policies

Physical Demands

This role requires working outdoors amid varying weather conditions and regular exposure to dust, dirt, and materials necessitating protective gear and possibly respirators. The job frequently involves working at heights on ladders and scaffolds. Physical activities include frequent reaching with arms and hands, standing, talking, hearing, walking, and operating tools. Occasional sitting is expected along with frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
