Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This full-time position involves measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials to construct or repair frameworks, furniture, and various structures. The role requires installing doors, windows, floors, and cabinetry with precision, examining blueprints and construction plans for project details, performing maintenance on wooden structures, and ensuring a safe work environment following company and legal standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and related materials.
• Install doors, windows, flooring, and cabinetry ensuring quality workmanship.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings to meet project specifications.
• Conduct repairs and upkeep of wooden structures to maintain stability and safety.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the worksite, responsibly managing waste.
• Comply fully with company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies, including prompt reporting of hazards or incidents.

Qualifications and Experience

• Up to two years of relevant carpentry experience within the UAE.
• Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, saws, measuring devices) and power tools (drills, sanders).
• Ability to read and understand simple drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of various wood types and construction materials.
• Proven capability to accurately measure, cut, and fit materials.
• Experience in wooden framing, door and cabinet assembly, and finishing tasks.
• Previous carpentry experience in retail store settings is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from AED 1800 to AED 2800.
• Includes accommodation, transportation, and residency expenses covered by the employer.
