Role Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking a Cargo Strategic Partnerships Analyst to join their Cargo Strategic Partnerships department located in Doha, Qatar. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the growth and management of strategic cargo partnerships by offering analytical, commercial, and operational assistance across partnership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine commercial and operational partnership data to aid decision-making, including tracking volumes, rates, revenues, and performance trends among strategic partners, transforming raw data into insightful management reports.
- Create regular dashboards and reports to monitor partnership performance against predefined KPIs, identifying underperforming routes or partners and providing data-driven feedback for executive review.
- Manage day-to-day problem-solving for irregular interline shipments and commercial or operational issues, collaborating with internal teams and partner airlines to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in devising, updating, and implementing commercial, operational, and digital procedures and guidelines relevant to partnership activities, contributing to the documentation and standardization of SOPs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and airline partners to maintain commercial and operational coordination in routine partnership operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar function.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex commercial and operational data, recognize trends, and convert insights into actionable business strategies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Tableau for report creation and performance analysis to support business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and effective coordination across internal departments and external partners.
- Experience in documenting and refining business processes, including the development of manuals, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Basic understanding of air cargo commercial and operational workflows, particularly around partnerships, interline agreements, or network operations, is advantageous.
