Overview

Join a compassionate and supportive team dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of residents at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village in Stoke Nelson. This role offers an opportunity to work in a caring environment among diverse colleagues while contributing to residents' wellbeing daily.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver care and assistance aligned with residents' care plans under guidance from Registered Nurses.
  • Vigilantly observe residents and promptly report any changes in their condition or behaviour to nursing staff.
  • Ensure residents’ safety, dignity, and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Show empathy and provide meaningful support tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care delivered.

Requirements

  • Possess either a Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or equivalent) with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or equivalent).
  • Genuine empathy and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for elderly residents.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, which may include weekend shifts.

Compensation and Benefits
