Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our Broadview Lifecare team located in Whanganui. This permanent full-time role involves working at least 32 hours per week across AM, PM, night, and weekend shifts. The facility offers 85 beds, a 27-unit village, and provides multiple levels of care including specialized psychogeriatric services, offering valuable learning opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualifications such as a Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing from New Zealand or overseas.
• At least six months of experience in caregiving or a comparable role, preferably within aged care.
• Experience or training in dementia care is advantageous.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine passion for helping others, with a friendly, positive approach and excellent customer service skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning and understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
