As a Train Traffic Controller, you will operate within signal boxes to direct train movements, ensuring safe, punctual, and smooth train operations.

Training Details

• The retraining is conducted full-time (39 hours per week) combining theoretical and practical training segments.
• The theory lessons take place at our regional training centers, and practical assignments are arranged close to your residence when possible.

Main Duties After Retraining

• Managing train traffic at small, medium, or large signal boxes using levers, push buttons, and rotary switches.
• Setting routes (track paths, switches, signals) to ensure safe train departures, for example from stations.
• Overseeing operational activities within stations.
• Communicating and coordinating with team members in signal boxes, train drivers, and control centers as part of daily tasks.

Candidate Profile

• You possess a completed vocational training qualification, such as retail salesperson, restaurant specialist, bakery sales clerk, or office clerk.
• Basic PC skills are expected.
• You maintain calm and composure under pressure while keeping an overview.
• Teamwork skills and willingness to take responsibility define you.
• Willingness to work shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) and flexibility, while ensuring a good work-life balance.
