Cards Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cards Business Analyst specialized in migration tasks to join our team in Wellington, New Zealand. The candidate will bring comprehensive knowledge of the entire cards lifecycle, including issuing, acquiring, and fundamental switching functions. This role involves proactive engagement with clients to uncover new business opportunities and potential prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess solid experience across multiple systems and their peripheral components.
• Leverage any technical expertise relevant to digital banking ecosystems such as mobile applications, wallets, and payment gateways.
• Manage platform implementations, migrations, upgrades, and ongoing application administration.
• Gather, develop, and finalize detailed business requirements.
• Support IT teams by contributing to solution design activities.
• Collaborate efficiently with vendors, card schemes, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide consultative advisory to project managers on execution risks and mitigation in large-scale projects.
• Engage directly with client and vendor teams to ensure project success.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
