Car Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Car Driver to ensure the safe and punctual transportation of company personnel, clients, and goods. The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of local routes, adhere strictly to traffic and safety norms, and ensure the vehicle remains in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles with responsibility and care to ensure safety.
• Transport goods or personnel as assigned by the company.
• Comply with all traffic laws and uphold safe driving standards.
• Keep the vehicle clean and mechanically sound at all times.
• Perform regular inspections of essential vehicle components such as fuel, tires, brakes, and engine oil.
• Report promptly any maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle usage.
• Ensure scheduled pickups and drop-offs occur punctually.
• Uphold confidentiality and maintain professionalism when interacting with management, colleagues, and clients.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials if required.
• Handle company documents, parcels, or items responsibly during transit.
• Keep all vehicle documentation—including insurance, pollution under control (PUC), registration, and driving license—valid and up to date.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a valid driving license suited for the vehicle.
• Preferably 1 to 5 years of experience driving professionally.
• Strong familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns.
• Clean driving record without violations.
• Basic skills in vehicle maintenance.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a high degree of responsibility.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as business needs dictate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a company, personal, or office driver.
• Familiarity with navigation tools like Google Maps.
• Experience transporting senior management or clients.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary approximately ₹22,000, with additional incentives based on performance and skills.
• Work hours approximately 8 to 9 hours daily, with flexibility to accommodate operational demands.
• Salary disbursed timely.
• Benefits may include Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) where applicable.
• Potential for overtime and travel allowances, subject to conditions.
