About the Role

JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, located in the vibrant downtown district of Dubai, is a luxurious 5-star property consisting of two towers with 1608 rooms. The hotel offers spectacular views of the Dubai cityscape and water, complemented by amenities like an outdoor pool, fitness center, and a spa. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate effectively with chefs and stewards during events to communicate service requirements.
• Calculate total charges for group functions and prepare/present payment checks to clients.
• Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee break areas are prepared and meet service standards.
• Verify that appropriate centerpieces are arranged on each table.
• Inspect and confirm cleanliness and presentation of all tableware before use.
• Engage with guests to confirm their satisfaction throughout the event.
• Set tables in accordance with the event type and established service guidelines.
• Relay any specific dietary requirements, allergies, or special meal requests to kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout operational hours.
• Adhere to company safety and security policies, report any incidents or unsafe conditions, and complete necessary safety training.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of company information.
• Deliver warm greetings and acknowledgments to guests following company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests, including proper telephone etiquette.
• Foster positive relationships within the team and support collective goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and carrying items up to 25 pounds, and be capable of prolonged standing, sitting, or walking.
• Undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
