About the Internship

Role Overview
The Capital Delivery Intern will gain practical experience by assisting in the delivery of key capital infrastructure projects across Vector's electricity network. This full-time, ten-week placement exposes interns to all phases of the project lifecycle, including design evaluations, onsite inspections, and the final commissioning stages. Rotations through design, delivery, commercial, and operational units ensure a well-rounded understanding and contribution to real projects, culminating in a targeted deliverable backed by regular guidance.
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in their third or final year of a Civil or Electrical Engineering degree with a keen interest in infrastructure implementation and power networks.
- Demonstrates initiative and practicality, capable of independently driving tasks and adding value to project deliverables.
- Possesses strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure top-quality results.
- Collaborative yet capable of working autonomously, easily developing constructive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Curious and motivated to learn, communicates effectively, and is confident in seeking feedback and expanding knowledge.
