Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate CAM Programmer who enjoys working with modern machining technology and contributing to complex manufacturing processes. Join our team in Wetzlar and apply your CAM programming expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop CAM programs for indexed turn-mill machines using Siemens NX, including troubleshooting and optimizing machining processes.
- Define machining sequences considering complex workpieces, clamping setups, raw materials, and machines.
- Create and maintain production documentation.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to understand and implement technical requirements.
- Simulate tool paths and manage tools within the tool management system.
- Train setup operators (Rüster) at their workstations.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or cutting machine operator (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience with CAD and CAM systems (turning and turn-milling), preferably Siemens NX.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, measurement protocols, and using manual measuring instruments.
- Advanced skills with computerized measuring tools.
- Methodical and solution-driven work approach with quick learning ability.
- Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork and communication capabilities, very high quality awareness, commitment, and proactive attitude.
