Job Overview
Join a family-operated farm located near Darfield Township, Canterbury, New Zealand, as a calf rearer. The role involves caring for approximately 450 calves, including both heifer and beef varieties, with an immediate start expected. This position is temporary, estimated to last around six weeks, and requires availability to work Fridays through Mondays.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and feeding to a large group of calves, including heifer and beef calves.
- Follow the farm's feeding routine which involves feeding once daily; beef calves have ad-lib feeding patterns.
- Work scheduled days including Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
