About the Role

Join our café team as a dedicated member who contributes to a great customer experience by preparing food, ensuring hygiene compliance, and maintaining cleanliness. This lively role includes cooking, customer interaction, and various daily tasks. Our policy guarantees a minimum of 8 hours of work per week with flexible shifts scheduled within specified availability windows, provided three weeks in advance. Candidates must be 18 years or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen tools and equipment.
• Serve customers promptly and courteously.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene rules, documenting daily procedures.
• Manage stock using first-in, first-out principles to ensure freshness.
• Receive deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures diligently.
• Prepare, cook, and present food items in line with the café menu.
• Maintain availability of all food products and uphold quality standards.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of the menu to serve accurately.
• Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
• Keep up with business communications and initiatives.
• Clean and sanitize tables to maintain a tidy café environment.
