About the Role
We represent an innovative and rapidly expanding technology company specializing in autonomous systems and aviation. They are growing their software engineering team and are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on large-scale, mission-critical backend systems supporting real-time operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of core backend services responsible for managing real-time systems and operational workflows. Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams is vital to deliver reliable and scalable solutions in a high-availability environment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive professional background in developing backend or system-level software for production environments
- Expertise in C++ programming language
- Experience with Python is a plus
- Strong knowledge and experience in designing and maintaining services within distributed or real-time system architectures
- Solid grasp of relational database systems, with a preference for PostgreSQL
- Proven track record of taking full responsibility for features or subsystems
- Advanced troubleshooting and debugging capabilities
- Background in Robotics, Automotive, or Aerospace industries highly advantageous
