C Shift Utility Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Utility Technician for the C Shift to support building area setups and maintenance. This role involves organizing department spaces including assembly of office furniture and workstation setups as well as general custodial duties such as restroom and breakroom cleaning. The position may also involve learning apprenticeships with Facility Supervisors or Technicians for minor repairs and facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up departmental areas including visual displays and 5S stations.
• Perform housekeeping duties in restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and other areas.
• Assist with basic handyman tasks and empty recyclable bins.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly inspecting and traversing all office and department spaces.

Candidate Profile

• Strong time management capabilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Consistent adherence to company cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and leaf blowers.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols including Safety Training and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Willingness to wear necessary safety attire including safety shoes and masks.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of college courses or IT certifications is advantageous but not mandatory.
