Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for all guests assigned, ensuring meaningful and attentive engagement throughout their stay.
- Review guest profiles prior to arrival by examining historical data, researching online and social media, sending pre-arrival emails, and responding quickly to inquiries.
- Coordinate amenities requests, handle guest communications professionally through phone, email, and messaging platforms.
- Assist guests with limousine or taxi bookings, reservations for dining, entertainment, attractions, and ticket purchases.
- Prepare suites thoughtfully, conduct smooth arrivals and in-suite check-ins, provide orientation, welcome drinks, unpacking services, and customize itineraries per guest preferences.
- Manage amenities replenishment, daily room services, laundry, shoe-shining, and document guest preferences based on observation and interaction.
- Make appropriate dining recommendations, efficiently take and serve in-room dining orders, and manage clearance promptly.
- Plan and execute creative celebrations for guests' special occasions tailored to preferences.
- Proactively arrange pre-departure services including packing assistance, limousine booking, luggage handling, billing accuracy, and seamless checkout with warm farewells.
- Report any security concerns and provide feedback to Butler Management, resolving guest feedback and challenges professionally.
- Participate in operational taskforces and Butler Command Center rotations as required.
- Adapt to operational changes while strictly adhering to company procedures and service guidelines.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Service and Operational Excellence
- Perform all responsibilities in compliance with Forbes 5-star service standards.
- Consistently deliver exceptional service to guests and colleagues.
- Ensure efficient communication during shift handovers and attend daily briefings and trainings.
- Maintain and update guest and VIP preferences in OPERA and individual profile sheets throughout the guest journey.
- Keep front and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Stay informed about internal promotions and local offerings.
- Maintain departmental grooming and professional appearance standards.
- Propose innovative ideas to enhance guest experiences and improve operational effectiveness.
Operational Risk Management
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health policies and procedures.
- Monitor front and back-of-house activities and report suspicious behavior to Security.
- Respond promptly to emergencies following protocols and report to management.
- Understand and assist with Butler Services risk assessments.
- Handle luggage-related requests including lifting, placement, or storage safely and efficiently.
- Handle physically demanding tasks including extended periods of standing, walking, stair use, and maneuvering operational equipment or butler trolleys.
- Maintain composure under high stress and resolve challenging guest situations effectively.
Employee Engagement and Collaboration

Documentation, Financial, and Reporting Duties
- Participate in departmental meetings as scheduled.

- Monitor supply usage to stay within budget and minimize waste.
- Contribute ideas supporting the company's vision, mission, values, and guiding principles.

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Property Management Systems (OPERA), FCS, LDS, and Point of Sales (POS) systems.
- Strong skills using Microsoft Office applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore region including its multicultural aspects, attractions, and dining options.
- Fluent English and Vietnamese communication skills are mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work any day and shifts as per operational requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, teamwork orientation, and a service-focused mindset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, adaptability, and confidentiality.
- Comfortable engaging guests with confidence and charisma.
- Strong understanding of the needs of international luxury travelers and multicultural sensitivity.
