Key Responsibilities

• Receive detailed handover from the previous shift, ensuring all communication devices are exchanged properly.
• Proactively gather and act upon guest preferences to personalize service.
• Warmly welcome guests on arrival, providing thorough orientation of their room and hotel amenities.
• Conduct in-room check-ins and inspections when requested.
• Efficiently manage guest rooming, offering butler services such as unpacking, pressing, shoeshine, and complimentary beverages.
• Serve wake-up tea or coffee at scheduled times, and additionally offer these beverages on demand.
• Process guest laundry and pressing requests punctually as specified by guests.
• Address and document guest complaints, reporting incidents to supervisors and following up for resolution.
• Maintain logs detailing ongoing events and guest issues during shifts.
• Monitor service requests such as wake-up calls via the concierge system and prepare arrival reports highlighting any special notes or remarks.
• Ensure timely completion of guest requests, coordinating proper handover if unfinished when shifts change.
• Update guest profiles and notes within hotel computer systems.
• Perform shoe shining and deliver services as required.
• Assist with packing and unpacking services for guests.
• Keep butler pantry areas stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, water, sugar, milk, linens, napkins, and utensils, maintaining cleanliness.
• Clean cups, plates, and utensils before shift end to maintain pantry standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience working as a butler in a luxury hotel environment.
