About the Role

As a busser at The Americano in Scottsdale, AZ, you will play an essential part in ensuring a seamless and pleasant dining experience. You will assist the front-of-house team by maintaining cleanliness, resetting tables efficiently, and supporting servers in delivering excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist servers and hosts by promptly clearing and preparing tables for the next guests.
• Keep the dining areas, patios, lounges, and service stations clean and well-maintained.
• Refill guests' water glasses and bread service as directed by the servers.
• Ensure dining tables and sections are appropriately arranged at the start of each shift.
• Restock server stations with necessary items like glassware, silverware, and napkins.
• Help carry food, clear dishes, and communicate guests' needs to the team efficiently.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines related to dishware and dining room upkeep.
• Carry out opening and closing cleaning tasks and side work duties.
• Communicate well with team members to maintain smooth service flow during busy shifts.
• Move with urgency, stay alert, and pay attention to detail throughout shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• A motivated, energetic, and team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic is essential.
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized under pressure.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
• Willingness to stand and be active for prolonged periods.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona Food Handler’s Card.
