Role Overview

As a Busser, your primary goal is to create welcoming and spotless dining areas that encourage guests to return. Your work will directly support a memorable dining experience by ensuring cleanliness and readiness of tables and surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove dishware and napkins after guest meals and return them promptly to the kitchen.
• Sweep and mop floors and clean chairs around dining tables to maintain a tidy environment.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware.
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables to prepare for the next guests.
• Refill condiments such as salt and pepper at tables as needed.
• Provide assistance to servers in delivering food.
• Keep designated service stations clean and replenished.
• Support other cleaning tasks within the restaurant as requested.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong desire to care for others, eagerness to develop professionally and learn.
• Positive and cooperative attitude.
• Capability to thoroughly clean tabletops, table legs, booth seats, and pick up debris from floors throughout the restaurant.
• Physical stamina to transport plates, glasses, and baskets approximately 30 times per shift among dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
• Mobility and alertness maintained throughout entire shifts.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to move throughout the restaurant and communicate with guests effectively.
• Ability to lift or grasp items up to five pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to bend and stoop as required.
• Good vision to ensure cleanliness standards and operate touchscreens.
