The Business Manager, Customer Network will collaborate closely with the Customer Network Director and other business leaders to develop and implement the Customer Network strategy across all branches, ensuring alignment and delivery of business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the formulation and execution of the Customer Network Strategy by engaging with business heads and stakeholders for strategic alignment.
- Monitor branch performance against growth targets and profitability, driving expansion through strategic branch placements based on market research.
- Use data analytics, including ATM usage statistics, to optimize operations and identify expansion opportunities.
- Oversee all retail premises-related matters, managing relocations, vacant spaces, and coordinating with internal departments and third parties.
- Provide analytical support to cluster management with competitor benchmarking and market intelligence to inform performance targets.
- Implement innovative working methods and Agile development to meet evolving market and customer demands.
- Develop performance reporting frameworks to facilitate business and team performance evaluation.
- Ensure control and monitoring of risk profiles within the Customer Network, escalating audit flags as necessary.
- Support team objectives by setting clear goals, providing coaching, and identifying training needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field; master's degree is advantageous.
- Demonstrated high drive and determination to achieve goals.
- Familiarity with legal aspects concerning physical channel operations.
- Insight into competitors' products and services.
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of retail banking goals and sales processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of physical channel products, policies, and pertinent legislation.
- Strong planning, organizational, communication, questioning, and networking skills.
- Proficient in PC usage with numerical, financial, and analytical capabilities.
- Customer service orientation, relationship management, negotiation, and presentation expertise.
- Decision-making ability and commitment to quality and teamwork.
