Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Business Intelligence Specialist to join Purple Cloud Development Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. The role involves identifying internal operational inefficiencies, ensuring the stability of BI systems including SAP BW, FineReport, and SAC, and delivering data-driven solutions that support business goals. You will serve as a critical link between IT and various business units by translating complex datasets into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to clearly define goals and deliver targeted data solutions addressing internal challenges to enhance commercial impact.
• Manage daily operations and secure corporate BI platforms such as SAP BW, FineReport, FineBI, SAC, and Qlik to guarantee system availability.
• Advance enterprise data governance by developing solid analytical logic and data models that can be executed into business plans.
• Coordinate communication between the IT BI team and functional departments including Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics.
• Promote and support the use of self-service analytics tools throughout the organization to cultivate a data-focused culture.
• Generate deep insights related to manufacturing and supply chain costs, operational efficiency, and fulfillment metrics to support informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Information Management (MIS), Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business, or a comparable field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Show proven experience in Business Intelligence, data analysis, or MIS roles with advantageous knowledge of Manufacturing or Supply Chain operations. Exposure to Finance, MES, Supply Chain, or Sales activities is a plus.
• Technical proficiency in BI tools such as SAP BW, FineReport, FineBI, Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau, along with competence in SQL, Python, and data modeling methods.
• Language skills include proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written), as it is the main language used in daily meetings, teamwork, and regional technical discussions, and functional English skills adequate for reading technical documents and professional communication.
