About The Team
Become part of ShopeePay's Regional Business Intelligence & Analytics Team, an energetic unit committed to transforming the financial technology sector across Southeast Asia. We emphasize innovation, data-guided decision-making, and strategic insight generation to boost user interaction and company growth. Operating at the forefront of fintech, we utilize comprehensive data analytics to advance ShopeePay’s expansion and enhance operational performance. Our goal is to provide actionable intelligence that supports ShopeePay’s strategic aims, fostering continual innovation and advanced solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analyses to discover trends, opportunities, and issues affecting business development and strategic planning.
- Manage data-driven projects from start to finish ensuring alignment with business goals and punctual execution.
- Work collaboratively with organizational stakeholders to weave data insights into business procedures aimed at boosting user acquisition, revenue, and app engagement, adjusting strategies as business needs evolve.
- Develop and update key performance indicators reports and comprehensive analytic reviews to assess the success of ShopeePay initiatives.
- Execute data cleansing and transformation to maintain data integrity and consistency in the data warehouse.
- Assist in refining and optimizing data infrastructure, including pipelines, models, and reporting systems to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, IT, Finance, Banking, Statistics, or related field.
- Proficient in SQL for complex data queries and analyses.
- Knowledge of Python programming is an advantage.
- Proven capability to autonomously lead projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude with a methodical and logical mindset towards business issues.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain insights and complex data to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience or interest in artificial intelligence tools, workflow automation, or generative AI applications to boost operational efficiency and business workflows is favorable.
