Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative based in London, you will join our growing European sales team offering our innovative software-driven mobile barcode scanning and data capture solutions to enterprise and mid-market clients in sectors such as retail, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and technology. Our primary targets include global enterprises with revenues exceeding $1 billion.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate leads through focused research, cold calling, and other outbound sales activities including events and trade shows.
- Analyze prospective accounts by mapping organizational structures, key stakeholders, and existing technologies.
- Engage senior business leaders to discuss their strategic needs and pain points.
- Arrange meetings and product demonstrations for Sales Managers.
- Accurately maintain Salesforce data for leads, opportunities, and accounts with thorough sales activity records.
- Coordinate closely with regional and vertical sales managers.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to refine and improve sales tactics and processes.
- Top performers may advance to sales training programs to develop for future roles.
Candidate Profile
- At least one year of sales or related experience in software or SaaS sectors; experience in mobile technologies is advantageous.
- A strong passion for learning and excelling in technology sales.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment and quickly adapt to changes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with confident interpersonal abilities.
- Energetic and highly motivated to make outbound calls consistently.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is considered a plus.
- A bachelor's degree (BS or BA) from a reputable university.
