Role Overview

The Business Development Representative will play a pivotal role in nurturing the sales pipeline and cultivating stronger client relationships. Collaborating closely with leadership and the marketing team, you’ll enhance sales methods leveraging Evolving Web’s robust community involvement, their flagship EvolveDigital industry event, and an enduring history of partnerships with influential brands. Your mission is to build on these assets to drive elevated sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing sales pipeline and identify new opportunities to grow business.
• Develop compelling proposals and presentations targeted at prospective clients.
• Work in close partnership with account managers, marketing teams, and allied industry collaborators.
• Track and analyze market trends and client needs, communicating insights to account managers and leadership.
• Support marketing initiatives, particularly contributing to the success of the EvolveDigital event series, aligning sales strategies accordingly.
• Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activities, and potential opportunities that align with company expertise and client demands.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years’ experience in a business development role within a digital services company.
• Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and knowledge of procurement systems.
• Excellent presentation capabilities and demonstrated success in client relationship management.
• Strong skills in data analysis, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
• Technical curiosity and capacity to quickly master new tools and workflows.
• Willingness and ability to travel for conferences and client meetings as necessary.
• Outstanding oral and written communication proficiency.

Additional Asset Qualifications

• Experience with public speaking engagements.
• Background in selling products or services to the US market.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level CMS platforms and offerings.
