Secfix is a leader in automating security compliance across Europe, specializing in simplifying and accelerating adherence to standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, and SOC 2. Our goal is to significantly cut down hundreds of hours of manual compliance work. We operate as a fully remote team with hubs in Munich, Berlin, and London, recently securing $12M in Series A funding with backing from prominent investors including Alstin Capital, Neosfer (Commerzbank), and Bayern Capital.
Role Summary
We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on expanding our mid-market presence in the DACH region. This role reports to the Go-To-Market team, working closely with the GTM Lead and Account Executives. It offers high autonomy and the opportunity not only to execute outbound strategies but also to contribute to the strategic approach for engaging complex accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market accounts aligned with company Ideal Customer Profile and key industries
- Generate new sales pipeline by executing thoughtful, multi-channel outbound efforts including calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry events
- Lead discovery and qualification conversations to understand client needs and buying processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure ongoing engagement beyond initial contact
- Represent Secfix at relevant industry gatherings to enhance market presence
- Collaborate with Account Executives to facilitate smooth deal progression
- Maintain rigorous customer relationship management with detailed reporting using HubSpot
- Help refine company messaging, segmentation strategies, and playbooks tailored to the mid-market segment
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fast-paced, client-facing roles such as startups, consulting, sales, or business development
- Proven ability to engage with mid-market accounts or manage complex sales cycles
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for results rather than just activities
- Exceptional German language proficiency at C2 level and strong command of English
- Effective at engaging decision makers across various departments
- Skilled relationship builder with a structured and strategic mindset towards account development
- Comfortable working with KPIs and CRM tools, particularly HubSpot
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within B2B SaaS, security, compliance sectors, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with utilizing industry events to generate leads
- Knowledge of software tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, Apollo
- Background in early-stage startups (Series A–B)
- Academic or extracurricular records reflecting high achievement, such as top-tier universities or competitive sports

Recruitment Process
