About the Role
Join Dojo in revolutionizing payments within the UK and beyond. As a rapidly growing and largest acquirer for in-person commerce, Dojo services over 150,000 customers across multiple countries and processes billions in transactions annually. This role is a critical part of a newly forming team that drives growth in the £1m to £20m mid-market segment. You will be a foundational member helping build and define the outbound sales pipeline and team structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertly execute outbound prospecting strategies using multiple channels including calls, emails, and social media to reach potential merchants.
- Schedule and conduct discovery meetings to deeply understand merchant needs, challenges, and goals.
- Document interactions and update CRM records meticulously to monitor outreach progress.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to share market insights and customer requirements.
- Participate actively in sales meetings, training, and company events as needed.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years of experience in a similar B2B outbound sales role involving cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement, preferably within payments, finance, or technology sectors.
- A proven track record as a sales hunter, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with strong capability in engaging mid-market prospects.
- Experience engaging clients from hospitality, retail, healthcare, or leisure & entertainment is advantageous.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
Work Environment & Culture
Dojo embraces an office-first policy with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and productivity, requiring presence at the London office 4+ days per week. Workspaces are designed to meet different needs, including quiet zones for concentration and social hubs for informal connections.

We value curiosity, persistence, and customer-centricity. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core to building relevant products and thriving teams that reflect the varied businesses we serve. We encourage applicants who share these values to join us and will support accommodations throughout recruitment to ensure all candidates can perform their best.
