Business Development Representative (German Speaker)

Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative for charles, based in Berlin with a hybrid work setup, you will significantly contribute to the company's growth by developing sustainable partnerships and demonstrating the value of Conversational AI tailored to client business strategies. You will ensure alignment with client objectives through diligent engagement and value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the pre-sales pipeline, aiming for key outcomes including acquiring new clients and expanding current accounts.
• Evaluate potential client performance to identify opportunities where charles can drive business improvements.
• Generate leads within the DACH region and/or Italian market by utilizing methods such as cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, events, and strategic cooperation with Account Executives and the Studios Team.
• Elevate outbound marketing efforts through diverse tactics including social selling and use of LinkedIn Navigator.
• Maintain high standards in lead pre-qualification and assist in deal closures.
• Proactively identify lucrative partnerships and new business opportunities.
• Contribute innovative ideas and insights to support the evolution of charles' mission.

Candidate Profile

• Documented success in sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong capacity to discern and articulate business transformation needs of clients.
• Demonstrates persistence and determination to finalize sales deals.
• Collaborative team player dedicated to collective achievements.
• Fluency in German at a professional level (C1/C2) and confident English communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of the European e-Commerce sector and relevant enabling technologies is advantageous.

Work Environment

You will work from charles' Berlin office Tuesday to Thursday, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.
