Position Overview

Based in Dubai, the Business Development Representative will contribute to revenue expansion by identifying and nurturing new business leads to support the regional sales team’s objectives. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales executives, and leadership to transform campaign interest and outbound efforts into qualified sales engagements and pipeline prospects. This role demands organized outreach, precise account mapping, and detailed documentation within CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed research on target companies, contacts, buying groups, and market triggers to inform sales and marketing focus.
  • Perform proactive outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other approved channels to set up sales meetings.
  • Follow up diligently on leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, and account-based efforts.
  • Qualify incoming and outgoing leads according to defined criteria and route them appropriately to sales personnel.
  • Assist in strategic account mapping identifying decision makers and influencers.
  • Support marketing initiatives through post-campaign and event follow-ups to convert engagement into sales opportunities.
  • Provide constructive feedback to marketing regarding engagement effectiveness and prospect responses.
  • Maintain systematic follow-ups on priority accounts according to sales priorities.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales leadership to align prospecting with sales plans and pipeline goals.
  • Document prospect interactions, prepare meeting contexts, and share insights with sales teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, lead statuses, and prospect details within CRM systems.
  • Track and report outreach and lead qualification metrics regularly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum three years of experience in sales development, business development, inside sales, lead generation, or related customer-facing roles, including B2B marketing.
  • Strong interest or experience in enterprise software, financial services, fintech, payments technology, banking, merchant commerce, or B2B tech sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for professional prospect engagement.
  • Ability to research and analyze accounts and contacts to support targeted outreach efforts.
  • Strong organizational skills with an aptitude to handle multiple deadlines and follow-ups.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales engagement tools, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Comfortable making cold calls to potential clients.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and align early conversations with relevant ACI payment solutions.
  • Persistence and professionalism in conducting outreach and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborative mindset working across sales and marketing teams.
  • Prioritization skills for managing key accounts and leads according to business goals.
  • Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment with clear activity and qualification targets.

Preferred Experience

  • Involvement with field marketing activities, account-based marketing, or event follow-up in B2B settings.
  • Experience prospecting within banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, retailers, merchants, or enterprise technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with payment systems such as real-time payments, fraud prevention, merchant acquiring, digital banking, and payment infrastructures.
  • Use of sales automation, prospecting, and marketing tools.
  • Additional language skills relevant to the regional market are advantageous.
  • Ability to operate within complex global organizations supporting multi-territory sales teams.
