Role Overview
This role as a Business Development Representative (BDR) focuses primarily on inbound sales prospecting, combined with outbound efforts, by initiating contact with potential clients. The BDR will perform cold calling, email outreach using sales enablement tools, and social selling methods to schedule meetings. They will handle initial exploratory calls and qualify prospects using the BANT approach before passing them to the Enterprise Sales team. Collaboration with Account Executives, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product teams is essential. Reporting is to the Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of buyer personas and their challenges.
- Conduct outreach through cold calls and emails targeting different departments.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities applying the BANT framework for handover.
- Create and customize outreach scripts and email sequences.
- Utilize social selling to attract and generate leads.
- Maintain detailed records and notes within the CRM system.
- Collaborate on new strategies aimed at attracting the target audience.
- Stay informed about industry developments, key competitors, and market trends.
- Explore and leverage various prospecting tools and technologies.
- Participate in networking events, face-to-face meetings, and other lead-generation initiatives.
Qualifications and Competencies
- At least one year of inbound or outbound business development, sales representative, or closely related experience.
- Proficient in cold calling and email selling techniques.
- Exceptional research capability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly performance targets.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with flexibility.
- Possession of a related third-level education qualification.
- Strong self-motivation, positive attitude, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to switch effectively between creative and analytical thought processes.

Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a gross annual base salary between €45,000 and €50,000, complemented by variable pay components. Total compensation depends on qualifications, skills, and location.
